Our goal is almost always to use herbs as a short-term solution to catalyze change in your body. Many of our patients see results with 3-6 months of consistent use, before tapering off their herbs.
Occasionally, we will do herbs for one month and then take a break to see how the body responds physiologically before changing the formula, continuing, or discontinuing. How long herbs are required depends on how chronic the condition is and the response to treatment. We will always discuss expected timelines throughout treatment.

Often, the length of time it takes to heal your symptoms depends on how long an issue has been ingrained in your body. Some patients will experience some immediate relief from pain or other symptoms, while deeper issues can take several months.
After your initial consultation, we will be able to make recommendations for treatment and give you an idea of what to expect. Typically, we get a sense of how long the entire treatment course will be within a month or two of following the recommended treatment plan.
